Richard Paul Burrows, 92, of Bethel Park, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 23, 2025. Born on July 24, 1933 in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, he is the son of the late James Bert and Sara Burrows.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Sue Burrows; Loving father of James Edward (Venice) Burrows and Peter Burrows; Grandfather to Edward Burrows; Brother to Bob (Pat) Burrows and Martha Smith; Brother-in-law to Cynthia Burrows; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings; John Burrows, Mary Alice Burrows, and William Arthur Burrows.
He graduated from Sandy Lake High School in 1951 and went on to earn his degree from Allegheny College in 1959 and later received his masters degree from Tulane University in 1967. He taught mathematics at Upper St. Clair High School for three decades. Richard enjoyed spending his days fishing, golfing, and being surrounded by those he loved most.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richards honor to the charity of your choice.
